We are thrilled and humbled to have the official Sophie Lancaster Foundation endorsement of the Massive Wagons anti-bullying campaign via latest single 'Fuck The Haters'
Alison Vincent from the Sophie Lancaster Foundation said:
“The message in this Massive Wagons song ‘wear what you want, be who you want to be and be proud about it’ absolutely reflects the core message of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. The unprovoked gang attack on Sophie was solely because of her Gothic appearance. Our work focuses on educating people that difference should be celebrated not feared and we all have the right to be who we are without harassment or violence. It’s great that this campaign has such a strong anti-bullying message as we know how devastating the effects of bullying can be. We are so grateful that the band will be donating a proportion of merchandise sales to the Foundation and we will use any proceeds to deliver much needed anti-bullying workshops in schools.”
The Sophie Lancaster Foundation works to promote tolerance and acceptance for others, and champions alternative people in our communities. We in MW wrote FTH with these same beliefs and objectives in mind, so this is very cool indeed.

This is such a powerful partnership. The line from Alison Vincent about difference being "celebrated not feared" really hits home — it's such a simple idea but so many people still struggle with it. I love that Massive Wagons are putting their money where their mouth is by donating merch sales too, that's how you actually support a cause. Speaking of testing things properly, I was just using a scroll test to check my mouse wheel was working right before ordering some new gear — it's funny how we'll happily test our tech but forget to check our own attitudes sometimes. Anyway, big respect to both the band and the foundation for this one.
